§ 10.02.015. Municipal golf courses—Management.

  • (a)

    The Huron City Commission shall have ultimately supervisory authority and responsibility for the Golf Department and the establishment, maintenance and operation of public golf courses within the City of Huron.

    (b)

    The Golf Department shall be under the direct supervision of the City Commissioner as designated by the City Commission. The City Commissioner designated as the Golf Commissioner, or the Golf Commissioner's designee, shall be the City's representative whenever the City has entered into a contract with an independent contractor directly related to the maintenance or operation of the municipal golf courses.

    (c)

    The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating of activities concerned with the construction, maintenance, and operation of the City's golf courses and supervises and directs all activities of the City's golf courses.
