§ 10.02.220. Contracts and employees.

  • Except as may be limited by a contract between the City and an independent contractor or otherwise authorized pursuant to SDCL 9-1-5, the City Commission shall have the sole authority and responsibility for approving, executing and enforcing all golf department contracts and related documents. The City Commission shall be responsible for the hiring of golf department employees, and the Golf Superintendent shall be responsible for the scheduling and supervision of golf department employees.
