Term of Office. Upon the final adoption and publication of the ordinance codified
herein, the mayor with the approval of the governing body shall forthwith appoint
seven members to the city park and recreation board. One such member shall be appointed
for the year, one for two years, one for three years, one for four years, one for
five years, and there after each appointment shall be for five years. Such appointees
are to hold office until their successors are appointed and qualified.
