§ 5.10.040. Permit required.

It is unlawful for any person to engage in business as a transient merchant within this city without first obtaining a permit to do so from the city finance department. Permits shall be valid for either (1) three consecutive months, (2) six consecutive months, (3) nine consecutive months, or (4) twelve consecutive months. No permit shall be valid for longer than twelve consecutive months.
